Conroe stood out with a move in-to-out ratio of 1.45. This means for every 100 people considering leaving Conroe, 145 are planning to move in, a clear indicator of its growing desirability.

Conroe, originally a sawmill town founded in 1881, now ranks as the 19th most desired suburb in the nation, according to this survey. Its appeal stems from a blend of family-friendly activities, a picturesque lake, a lower crime rate, and affordable housing. Notably, Texas boasts three suburbs within the top 25, reflecting a broader trend.
