Pumpkin season is here, and Houston-area families have plenty of farms to choose from when it comes to patches, corn mazes, and fall festivals.
Each of these destinations highlights something a little different — from big rides and attractions to cozy country bakeries and hands-on animal encounters. Here’s a look at what the farms themselves say they offer for fall fun.
Froberg’s Farm (Alvin, TX) — Best for classic farm fun
According to Froberg’s Farm, their Fall Festival runs from late September through early November with a corn maze, outdoor pumpkin patch, and hay rides. Families can also stop into the farm’s Country Store and Bakery, open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., where Froberg’s highlights homemade pies, cookies, jams, and other fresh treats.
P-6 Farms (Montgomery, TX) — Best for rides and attractions
P-6 Farms promotes its Fall Festival as a weekend event running September 27 to November 2, featuring a you-pick pumpkin patch, a giant corn maze, vintage rides, a roller coaster, pig races, and photo opportunities. The farm notes that general admission is $25.95, which includes more than 25 attractions, while pumpkins, flowers, and food are available at an additional cost.
Dewberry Farm (Brookshire, TX) — Best for big festival energy

The farm emphasizes its Texas-sized pumpkin patch, an eight-acre corn maze, evening events like BOOriffic Nights, and seasonal treats alongside farm animals and photo opportunities.
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm (Spring, TX) — Best for affordable family fun
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm shares that no reservations are required for its fall Pumpkin Patch — families simply pay at the gate. Attractions include a train ride through the tree farm, hay rides, a one-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, and inflatables. The farm specifies that pumpkin patch entry is included, while attraction tickets are sold separately.
Old MacDonald’s Farm (Humble, TX) — Best for little kids

General admission is $18.65 plus tax (free for children under 18 months) and includes train rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and pumpkin patch activities. The farm specifies that each child with paid admission receives one free pumpkin, with additional pumpkins available for $3.
